(Journeys) never fail to elicit a longing to explore the places within me that are inevitably stirred by the power of Judith’s words. I appreciate the quiet time built into the gathering as it provides time for reflection. (When we come back together) I am always amazed at our shared experiences. The universal truths that invariably arise call me back to our oneness – our connection to one another. (Gatherings are) a magical dance….

The poetry Judith presents touches my heart, and allows me to tap into some aspect of vulnerability. The respectful group sharing expands the possible understandings…. I consider it a gift to be in quiet reflection with others. I feel like I have honored my desire to be still, amid the gentle sharing of others who seek the mystery of that stillness.

The sessions open windows to my soul revealing an inner self not seen before, depositing a new awareness, thankfulness, a hunger to learn more and to be more of a blessing….

Judith’s offerings, both poems and the process of queries, were clearly inspired…. Her poem, “Inseparable,” continues to support and strengthen my faith path. I am very excited by this process, which offers spiritual deepening and nourishment.

Judith’s warm and welcoming ways provide the group time to learn, reflect and grow both individually and collectively. Judith has a gift of holding space for each of us, as well as including us in community space.

The value (of the sessions) lies in thinking through things on a deeper level and taking the thoughts to other subjects. Time is needed to go into the words to search for expanded meaning and maybe take it in another direction. I treasure the deep conversation…. It is truly a gift, a gift of companionship not easily found elsewhere.

(Journeys) serve to focus the conversation to a particular set of ideas to begin with. The unexpected personal stories that have been shared would never have come up had they not been beckoned by the prompting of the poetry. And because poetry is not declarative, there is room within those words for a variety of interpretations. I feel nourished, which allows me to continue my own work. I feel refreshed, and connected with the people who have also attended. (The experience) is open and loving and thoughtful.

(Poem as Portal journeys) crack the mundane, open the nut in which we live into something more…. (The gathering) enables minds looking for transcendence to receive the offerings of others’ thoughts… without judgment… freely. Quiet reflection… allows silence to speak. After gatherings I feel refreshed… and open to my unleashed thoughts. (I experience) a fanning of tamped down embers that warms the soul.
